Throne of Freedom
It’s 5:44am. I am sitting in front of my large mirror, red light shining down on me, Divine Surrendering by Doe Paoro playing in the background. Moki just woke up and came downstairs to find me and give me a hug and kiss.
Life feels different than it did a year ago.
All the chasing, wanting, asking, over-extending energy that I existed in before has dissipated from my Being (for now).
I have stopped expanding outwards, in business, in friendships, in needing to complete courses and tasks. Instead, I am rising taller, honouring my Sacral Chakra, speaking my truth, existing in such vulnerability that my heart is no longer just on my sleeve but instead it is sitting on a Throne of Freedom.
My “spiritual journey” has forever been a practice of trial and error and I truly thought that one day I would move into more structure and completeness. Structure? That feels too masculine for my vessel. Completeness? How boring! I don’t even know what that means anymore. I hope I am never complete on this journey because then my rhythm and joy would be done.
What I have learned through this liminal space I have been sitting in the past few months is a deeper appreciation for the Throne of Freedom; no longer needing to know all the answers, see beyond the trees, or tap into unchartered territories (right now).
Freedom to express my Self in ways that honour what I need in that moment.
Freedom to say no.
Freedom to say, this does not work for me even if it works for you.
Freedom to change my path (again).
Freedom to dream a new dream, out of nowhere.
Freedom to exist without the pressure of pleasing anyone outside of me.
Freedom to be bored.
Freedom to wake and wonder.
I feel my smile expanding as I write these words. Imagine living on that Throne of Freedom every single day?!
Recently, I had a spiritual practitioner in the online community tell me that I was resisting (her course content) and causing a lack of expansion in my business that was (likely) leaking into other areas of my life. Oooooooooof, girl, what!!??
It is so important to listen to the resistance. And she was right, I was resisting (her course content) because on my Throne of Freedom the last 4 months I have realized that my eyes are truly the gateway to my own Soul/Soul’s Calling/Inner Journey/Outer Expansion. There is not a person on earth who can give me the answers to my own inner questions. It is me. It is Eye.
On my Throne of Freedom, I don’t have to listen to the rules of the monarchy, telling me what I need to do in order to rise in success. I am the monarchy.
I am the power source of my creation. And my younger Self is in absolute awe of who I have become. I can see it and feel it as I take a pause from writing this and stare freely into my own Eyes.
Freedom is choosing your Self, your Heart Space, your own path, your own compass, over and over and over and over again until it feels unnatural to choose any other way.
And just like that, my red light turns off as my Spotify plays Water by Aisha Badru and Moki snores behind me on my yoga mat. Peace washes over this space as my Divine Feminine energy rises taller.
I am free.
